Step 1: Cut plenty of line so you have enough to work with
Step 2: Create a "U" at the halfway point and thread it thru the bolt snap
Step 3: Loop it over the top of the boltsnap and then snug it up

Step 4: Thread the two loose ends through or around whatever you want to connect
Step 5: Wrap it around again
Step 6: Now clean it up and tighten it up

Step 6: Now clean it up and tighten it up
Step 7: Split the ends and go around the middle point between the boltsnap and the attached item and tie a normal overhand knot. You are synching things together. Tighten it as hard as you can as the line will stretch a little bit when it gets wet. Really yank on it!
Step 8: Go around the other side and do the same thing
Note: You should now have two overhand knots, one on either side of the bolt snap and inbetween the boltsnap and the item.
Step 9: Add a second overhand knot that goes the opposite direction of what you did before. If you did right over left...then do left over right.

Step 10: Trim the line VERY close to the knot
Step 11: Burn/Melt the line until it touches the knot and then "smash" the flame out so that the melted part of the line oozes into the knot...locking it in place.
