HOW COULD YOU?!?!
No...I'm not trying to kill local dive shops. In fact, most of my gear comes from local dive shops. The only time I shop elsewhere is when they do not carry the particular brand I want. Most notably Halcyon. Also...if you didn't know... Dive Right In Scuba IS a local dive shop for me. It is literally 45min from my house, the same distance as any other full service dive shop in the area. If the other local retailers had online stores I'd use them as well.My goal is to provide you with a link to the product I'm talking about so you can read up on the details as well as see a price. It is HIGHLY likely your local shop can order what you want for you at the same price! Using an affiliate link makes it easier for me to maintain unbroken links to the products. Otherwise, every time a brand or retailer redesigned their website my links would be broken and I can't keep track of all the hundreds of product links I'm trying to help you with. To date...I've made less than $10 on affiliate links...please don't assume the worst of me.
So Where Do You Shop?
The majority of my gear comes from the following local retailers:- Sea Level Diving - Art has always done me right with my Mares, Aqualung and Bare products
- Crystal Blue Diving - Mike has always done me right with my Scubapro, Shearwater, Stahlsac, Hollis and Bare products as well as air fills
- Dive Right In Scuba - They have always done me right with my Santi drysuit and tanks.
- Illinois Institute of Diving - John has always done me right with Fourth Element drysuit under garments and absolutely perfect Nitrox32 fills
- Paragon Dive Group - Steve is freaken amazing and if I didn't have local shops I'd use him for everything. He's my goto for Halcyon and my first stop for anything else the local retailers don't have.
- Tech Dive Gear (TDG) - They are my xDeep supplier and have excellent customer service
